3D Printing Club

3D Printing club is a college level club of DYPIEMR. Aim of 3D Printing club is to provide a platform for the students of the various departments to adopt new skillset in 3D Printing. This helps the students to explore their technical and creative skills with the help of co-curricular and extracurricular activities.  A Student committee is constituted to handle the activities conducted by 3D Printing club. Activities and events conducted by 3D Printing club help students to understand the importance of Soft Skills in life as team work, team spirit, handling the responsibility and leadership qualities. Through this club students will also learn Design/Development of solution, Modern tool usage, Ethics, Team work and Life long learning. 3D printing is a manufacturing process that creates a physical object from a digital model file. The technology works by adding layer upon layer of material to build up a complete object.

Vision Mission and Objective

Objectives:
  1. To cultivate and expand the use of 3D printing in Engineering education
  2. To train 400 students of college in the academic year 2022-23
  3. To develop a competitive culture where the students polish technical and professional attributes, gain experience and learn new skills while upgrading the skillset.
Outcomes
 By participating in 3D printing club, students will be able to:
  1. Select 3D Printing materials for particular applications
  2. Learn & operate 3D Printing machine
  3. Discuss the economic implications of 3D printing including its impact on startup businesses
