1) Mr. Mayur Shinde, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department received the award as 'Best Paper Award' for his paper named Effect of Methane Emission in River Systems due to Waste Disposal in 3rd International Conference on the Status and Failure of the World’s Large Rivers, April 2017, New Delhi.

Dr. Pravin J Gorde from Civil Engineering Department, Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering, Management and Research, Akurdi received Sir William Lambton Award 2023 for his extraordinary contribution and excellent work in the field of civil engineering and land surveying by the hands of Hon. Manishatai Kumbhar, Deputy Collector, PMRDA, in the presence of Hon. S. Tripathi (Superintendent surveyor, Maharashtra and Goa, Survey of India, Pune) , Hon. R. B. Bhavsar (Deputy Director, Govt ITI), Hon. I. R. Bhilegaonkar (Principal, Govt ITI), Hon. Amruta Kulkarni (HOD Civil, DYPIEMR), Hon. Santosh Shirsikar, Hon. Sachin Khot ( Director, Saitech instruments) on occasion of National Survey Day.


   


Ms. Priyanka Jawale, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department, has successfully completed NPTEL Online Certification Course securing Elite + Gold Grade in Hydraulics' With consolidated score of 82%. She is the topper of this course.

Ms. Amruta Kulkarni (HOD, Civil Department), was the Panel Member in designing the Steel Structures Syllabus, in Three Days Online Workshop for Drafting of TE Civil 2019 Pattern Syllabus, organized by AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune in association with Board of Studies, Civil Engg, SPPU from 3rd May to 5th May 2021.

Mr Sachin S Nalawade has successfully completed Innovation Ambassador Training conducted by MoE's Innovation Cell & AICTE, New Delhi.

Mr. Shivkumar Hallale received the certificate of appreciation for his assistance in supervision of Revealed Preference and Stated Preference Survey conducted as a part of "Assessment of factors influencing ridership and identifying strategies for achieving estimated ridership of the Pune Metro Line III (Shivaji Nagar-Hinjewadi)" with the Collaboration of IIT Bombay.

Vaishnavi Battul, faculty of Civil Engineering Department was awarded with Best Presentation Award at International Conference on "Recent Trends in Construction and Structures-ICON2019" By VIT, Vellore, in Association with ASCE & ICI. The Paper will be published in ACI Materials Journal (Scopus Indexed)"



Mr. Mayur Shinde has co-ordinated practical sessions on surveying and soil testing for students from Design Innovating Centre, SPPU undergoing course on Advanced and Innovative Techniques for Environment and Watershed management.

Mr. Shree Kamble, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department, has successfully completed NPTEL Online Certification Course securing Elite + Gold Grade in ‘Waste Water Treatment and Recycling' With consolidated score of 95%. He is the topper of 1% in this course.
          Similarly, he has successfully completed NPTEL Online Certification Course securing Elite grade in 'Geoenvironmental Engineering' with consolidated score of 77%. He is the topper of 5% in this course.

Ms. Vaishnavi Battul, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department, has successfully completed NPTEL Online Certification Course with Elite Grade in ‘Structural Analysis I’ securing 89% 






Along with these two faculties of Civil Engineering Department, Following faculties also have successfully completed the NPTEL cetification courses securing Elite Grade.

i) Mr. Mithun Sawnt got 80 % in the subject named  Structural Analysis I.
ii) Mr. Rohit Deshmukh got 68 % in the subject named Effective Engineering Teaching.
iii) Ms. Aavani P got 60% in the subject named Outcome Based Pedagogy.
